Pura Vida May 2024

Algarve Horse Alarm, our wonderful partner, has saved the life of this magical mare, who was taken away from local gypsies by the fire department and brought to them. Her name is Pura Vida - and this is so fitting – as she has suffered horrific and unimaginable mistreatment and is now fighting to stay alive.
 
We are determined to give her the fighting chance she deserves. Since last week Pura Vida has been fighting every minute to stand upright on her weak legs and continue her fight to stay with us. She is getting excellent care and SMVC has now organised Agrobs Mash for her and plenty of Homeopathic Globulis, Arnica, Echinacea and Calendula to help her body regain strength and heal the trauma she has endured.

We are committed to taking care of Pura Vida for the rest of her life. We have also offered her a forever home once she has healed further, ensuring she will always be cared for and loved.
